Steel H-BEAM Mill: Designed and built on a plot of 93 rai in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong. The steel H-beam mill had a production capacity of 600,000 tons per year. Metric was engaged to undertake the project management, part of which was the review of the production building design made by a design-build contractor. Metric also designed the support facilities and supervised the construction of the whole project.
New Mini Mill Project (SYS2): Siam Yamato Steel Co., Ltd. (SYS) planned to build a new factory to produce H-beam structural steel in Eastern Industrial Estate, Rayong. Metric was engaged to undertake the project planning, master layout, overall civil works for the entire 159-rai plot of land, non-process buildings & pulpits design. Metric also assisted SYS to do preliminary design and price inquiry preparation for their water plant consisting of raw water treatment (125 m³/h), direct cooling system (1,440 m³/h), and indirect cooling system (4,300 m³/h).
